Dawn Anderson is the founder of SEO consultancy and digital marketing agency, Bertey, based in Manchester, UK.
Training and lecturing
Dawn has lectured Manchester Metropolitan University digital marketing strategy students and international fashion promotion students at the undergraduate level and supervised postgraduate students undertaking dissertations for their Master of Science (MSc) in digital marketing strategy. Dawn also periodically delivers bespoke SEO training for digital marketing managers and in-house SEO teams looking to understand more about SEO as a discipline.

Dawn is an international conference speaker (UK, US, AUS, IT, FR, ES), covering advanced technical SEO and digital marketing topics. Dawn has spoken at some of the leading global search marketing conferences, including Pubcon (Las Vegas and Florida), SASCON, Brighton SEO, SMX (London (UK), San Jose (US), Milan (Italy), MozCon (US) and State of Search (US).
Search Awards judge
Dawn is a UK, EU, MENA, US and Global Search Awards Judge and a member of the SMX Programming Committee.
Dawn is qualified in digital marketing strategy with both a Pg Dip DigM (Post Graduate Diploma) (IDM) and a Master of Science (MSc) in (Digital Marketing Strategy). Dawn is a Fellow of The Institute of Digital Marketing (FIDM) and a Member of The British Computing Society (MBCS). She also contributes to leading search marketing industry publications such as Search Engine Land, Search Engine Journal, The SEMPost, State of Digital, and Smart Insights. Dawn is currently studying for her second MSc in Computer Science and Data Science.

In addition to providing ongoing SEO consultancy for brands and startups, Dawn undertakes advanced SEO audits. She has researched and presented at many conferences on advanced technical SEO topics and digital marketing strategy. Dawn also contributes regularly to webinars and industry panels on search marketing.

When she’s not studying for her second MSc in Computer Science and Data Science, outside of work Dawn is a keen runner, having already undertaken 3 marathons, including the daunting Snowdonia Marathon Eyri, along with many, many half marathons, fell running, cross country and road running. Dawn is also a keen hobby baker, always looking for an opportunity to share the cakes she makes.
